These terms govern your use of the Rentit platform. Please read them carefully before using our services.

Important: By accessing or using the Rentit platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Rentit.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Rentit Technologies Pvt. Ltd. These Terms govern your access to and use of the Rentit platform, website, mobile applications, and all related services.

By creating an account, accessing, or using Rentit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Rentit.
You must have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts under Indian law.
Property owners must provide accurate identity and property ownership documentation.
Landlords and agents must disclose their professional capacity when listing properties.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Rentit will never ask for your password via email or phone. If someone requests your credentials, report it immediately to safety@rentit.in.

4. Property Listings

Property owners and agents (“Hosts”) must ensure all listing content is accurate, current, and complete. Rentit reserves the right to remove listings that violate our standards.

Photos	Accurate, recent, and representative of the actual property
Pricing	Inclusive of all mandatory charges; no hidden fees
Availability	Updated within 24 hours of any change in status
Ownership	Lister must have legal authority to rent the property

5. Payments & Refunds

Premium plan purchases are processed through our secure payment partners. By purchasing a premium plan, you agree to the pricing and plan terms stated at the time of purchase.

Refunds: Premium plan fees are non-refundable unless the service was not delivered as described.
Disputes: Payment disputes must be resolved within 7 days of the charge.
Auto-renewal: Subscription plans auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

6–7. User Responsibilities & Prohibited Activities

You agree to use Rentit only for lawful purposes. You must not engage in any of the following:

Post false or misleading property listings

Collect tenant/owner data without consent

Harass or abuse individuals/other users

Scrape or copy platform data

Create multiple or fake accounts

Circumvent platform payments

8. Intellectual Property

All content on Rentit, including the Rentit name, logo, software, design, and proprietary data, is owned by Rentit Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

By submitting content to Rentit (including property photos and descriptions), you grant Rentit a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with our services.

9. Termination

Rentit may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, without prior notice. You may close your account at any time from your account settings.

10–12. Disputes · Liability · Contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. We will attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith negotiation before any legal proceedings.

Limitation of Liability: Rentit's liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
